So much has happened since we last updated the blog. So much that we don't know where to begin. So, let's just go skiing instead.
Eli, Sebastian, and Ally spent 12 days in Salt Lake City over Spring Break this year. We went skiing twice. Once Abe arrived for the weekend at the end of our trip, we were able to go skiing one more time. In that time, Eli went from having never skied before to a strong level three skier who can stop all by himself and get all the way down most any green run. Man, those lessons sure paid off.
Here are some pictures.
This was at Alta. It was our second day out (Thursday) and we opted for a private parent-tot lesson. Our instructor was Shelly. She showed us how to use the hula hoop to help control the pace while helping Eli learn the correct form.
It was a snowy day, though the other two days were beautiful with bright blue skies.
Eli sure earned that hot cocoa at the end of the lesson. He was pretty tired after each day.
Seb enjoyed his days with grandparents while Eli learned to ski. We can't wait till he joins us on the slopes, too. But I suspect (with some trepidation) that our Sebastian is going to be begging to ditch the skis and get on a snowboard. He's that kind of baby.
Okay, now that we've broken the blog silence, Eli and Sebastian are eager to fill you all in on everything that has happened in the last four months. That means filling you in on holidays, moving, saying goodbye to old friends, a birthday, a new school, a new job, a new house, and loads of baby milestones. Phew, this is going to take awhile.
